The Ageshkiri are avatars of the Aspects. These monsters slumber beneath the earth. In the First Epoch they rampaged across the land, destroying everything in their path. The folk history says that men were able to come together and fight back, driving them into quiescence, and in doing so created civilization. It has recently been discovered that this is not true, and that men, dwarves, and all the Goblin races were created by the Ageshkiri in their war with the Ditani. The Ditani sacrificed themselves in an attempt to destroy the Ageshkir, and in so doing freed the humanoid races from bondage.
Known Ageshkiri include:
Amundir - A mollusc-y mound that corrupted coastal waters and housed cysts for creating, incubating, and transforming humanoids. Amundir was put into torpor by Damunga with a silver ballista bolt. Amundir’s shell now forms the Pearl in the Traps near Ladoga.
Ehilagash - A colossal wyrm that the Ditani bound with chains beneath the earth during the First Epoch. It was freed by Javad during his sack of Lindmoor, and later slain by Ionnes.
Garaxas - A mound similar to Amundir that appeared off the coast of Kravca. Garaxas was put into torpor by Damunga after negotiating terms with Halloran, Grigoi, and Gol-Goroth.
Baalex the Endless - Baalex inhabits the body of an orc and has led the Bestial Races for a century. He wears a wooden mask with his tongue nailed to it and speaks through a group of nine slaves.
