Ehilagash was created to lay waste to the Ditani. Nearly a mile long, it would crush cities under its bulk. Its insides burned with an intense heat, which ignited plant and building alike as it passed.

The Ditani defeated Ehilagash by breaking a dam and flooding a canyon that the worm was passing through. Though unable to kill it, the Ditani were able to bind it with massive chains and seal it hundreds of feet beneath the earth. There it slumbered for centuries, until it was during the civil war in Myrne by [[Javad]].

Javad scoured the continent for Ehilagash, sacrificing entire towns to raise it from its torpor. As its strength returned, corruption flowed into the world. The dead rose, crops failed, and the beasts in the forests became twisted and corrupted. As Ehiligash began to strain against its chains violent earthquakes shook the entire region.

Discovering Javad's plot, [[Ionnes]] set out to stop Ehilagash from awakening fully. Ionnes was unable to find it in time, and Ehilagash broke free of its bonds. It reached the surface and destroyed many villages and settlements, but was destroyed when Ionnes pried two of its chitinous segments apart, crawled inside its body, cut his way to its heart, and killed it. Ehilagash's body remains on the surface, surrounded by miles of dead trees and bare rock.
